A discription of the function of the Haven Gateway Partnership and the areas in which it is active.

The Haven Gateway Partnership (HGP) is also a sub-regional economic partnership part funded by EEDA that covers the ports of Felixstowe, Harwich, Ipswich and Mistley and the surrounding area (including Eastern Babergh) – one of the UK’s largest and most important gateways. HGP provides a framework within which its partner organisations, from the private and public sectors, can work together to promote economic opportunities and secure the future prosperity of the region. The HGP specifically delivers maritime and logistics skills support and works with Cruise businesses at Harwich.
