A Sudbury business that has made its mark across the world has officially unveiled a new headquarters. Select Biosciences, which organises bioscience conferences in Europe and the Americas, has pledged its future to the Sudbury area by building its UK base, Woodview, on the Bull Lane Industrial Estate, Acton. Suffolk companies are offered the opportunity to attend 'funded' 'Winning Public sector contracts' workshops. The workshops comprise of 3, 1-day sessions to be held in Ipswich, Lowestoft and Bury St Edmunds.

This stimulating ‘Fit to Compete’ workshop series, dynamically presented by ‘selling to Government’ expert Malcolm Gallagher, will give you a winning insight in to what you have to do to win public sector contracts, and how you can compete and win those contracts.

This top quality and proven programme would cost you over £525 however thanks to funding  and support from Suffolk County Council, Suffolk Strategic Partnership and Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, you can grab one of subsidised places for only £175 plus VAT – a terrific saving on such a valuable programme.

Suffolk Resilience Business Continuity Forum.

The forum was inaugurated in November 2007, its purpose is to promote and develop business continuity planning across the county and has now produced it's first bulletin (PDF, 46kb). 

Membership is free and the events run will also be free. A workshop in November set the programme for the 2008/09 year, more information about this and relevant contact details are shown in the bulletin.
