Diana has been involved in village activities for nearly 40 years, particularly in the running of the Village Hall, Nayland's centre of community life. Diana has served on the Village Hall Management Committee for 33 years, being Treasurer for 11 years and Bookings Secretary for 24 years. She has also been involved with the Community Council, the Horticultural Society, the Church Bell Ringers, Nayland Handbell Ringers, the Womens Institute, the over-60's Club and the Carpet Bowls Club.
