Rosalind and Simon Lavington receiving their award

Rosalind and Simon have worked with tremendous energy and leadership on many community projects and initiatives with many different organisations over the past 10 years. Both are Parish Councillors and members of the PCC. One of Simon's many initiatives is the installation of the parish website and web enabled IT equipment and regular community computer courses now take place. Over the past 5 years Rosalind has prepared 14 separate bids and received a total of £242,149 for community projects, the most recent being the opening of a new community shop for the village. Rosalind and Simon's combined community work over a sustained period has enriched life in Sproughton and brought new facilities and services to the community
