Public Consultation on the Revised Single Equality Scheme 2010-2013 and Action Plan

Diversity is about the things that make us individuals. Your race, sex, religion, ethnic background, age, ability, sexuality. We are inviting you to take part in our consultation of the scheme and to let us know what you think.

Babergh District Council has developed a Revised Single Equality Scheme and Action Plan in line with the Single Equality Act bringing together the six equality strands (Age, Disability, Gender, Race, Religion or Belief and Sexual Orientation) under one piece of legislation.  

Babergh’s draft Single Equality Scheme and Action Plan addresses the varying review dates of the existing Disability, Race and Gender equality schemes and brings these and the existing Single Equality Scheme into alignment with the Council's three year medium term plan. 

We are inviting you to take part in our consultation of the revised scheme and to let us know what you think.  Any comments you have should be forwarded either:
