Paying Your Bill

When to pay

Council Tax is due on April 1^st each year. The amount you have to pay is divided up over a maximum of 10 monthly instalments (where the bill is issued before April 30^th, bills issued after May 1^st will receive a reduced number of instalments). Council Tax instalments are due on the first of each month and will be shown on your Council Tax bill, if we have not received your payment by the 10^th of each month the Council may take recovery action against you (See: What Happens if I Don’t Pay).

If you are having difficulty in paying please contact us immediately on 01473 825798.

We cannot guarantee that we will be able to help in every case but we will do our utmost to assist you if we can.
