The Council does not operate a dog registration scheme, but urges dog owners to ensure that their dogs are provided with a collar and tag.

Please note that dangerous dogs (as defined in The Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and summarised in Dangerous Dogs) are registered by the Police.
