Pollution Prevention and Control - Permits

Under the Pollution Prevention and Control (England and Wales) Regulations 2000 (the "PPC Regulations"), certain "scheduled" industrial activities and businesses require a permit from the regulator before they can lawfully operate.





How to apply for a Pollution Prevention and Control Permit

Any person operating or starting a business that requires a PPC permit must submit an application, with a fee, to the appropriate regulator.





Public Register of PPC Installations

The Council maintains a Public Register of permitted installations within the Babergh district.
