Please help reduce the amount of organic waste sent to landfill by home composting as much organic waste as possible.

Why Compost?

Composting at home is a great environmentally friendly way of disposing of your garden and kitchen waste. It helps to reduce the amount of rubbish going to landfill, saves trips to the local tip with your grass cuttings and provides free food for your garden.

Babergh District Council has teamed up with the other Suffolk councils and is now offering three sizes of compost bins at extremely low prices – starting at just £17! Up to 2 bins can be ordered per Suffolk household. Whatever the size of your garden, there is a bin available to suit!
Choose from:

  • The 220 litre Blackwall Compost Converter. Priced at just £17
  • The 330 litre Blackwall Compost Converter. Priced at just £20
  • The 250 litre wooden Composter. Priced at just £40
