Drug Related Litter

Summary

Occasionally syringes and other drug related items are discarded on streets and open spaces. Getting these removed once they have been reported is treated as a priority.

If you find a syringe or other drugs-related litter whilst out in the district it is important not to touch it yourself. Babergh will arrange for needles, syringes and other drug related items that are discarded in the environment and which may pose a risk to public safety to be removed and disposed of by specially trained operatives.

Contact Open Spaces team by one of the methods in the Contact Us section below giving as much information as possible on its location to help our staff find the item.

If you are worried or want further information about drug abuse, visit the Talk to Frank website.
