Request an Additional Bin

Summary

Information about how to request an additional black, blue or brown (rubbish, recycling or garden waste) bin.

In exceptional circumstances or where a household has seven or more occupants an additional bin may be provided. This will be a Blue Bin to encourage more recycling material to be collected.

Your request will be assessed and you will be advised accordingly.

The form will take approximately 2 minutes to complete, you will need to provide your personal details and know the depth of your current bin lid (from the handles to the front).

An alternative method of making a request for an additional bin is via the Refuse Hotline, the number is listed below.

Also, if you wish to have a larger bin or a smaller bin, then please contact the Joint Client Team (Mid-Suffolk & Babergh) on 0845 6066045 (Local Rate Call) or email recycling@midsuffolk.gov.uk. A fee may be applicable.
