Our target of delivering 700 new affordable homes in the development pipeline between 2004/5 and 2009/10 is progressing well.
The ‘development pipeline’ means
- completed dwellings
- dwellings under construction
- dwellings with planning permission
- schemes being worked-up on Babergh land or in partnership with Parish Councils
To 31.3.08 Babergh has achieved 275 Affordable Housing Completions. Information on the number of homes due for completion this year, and those now in the development pipeline for the period to 2009/10 are shown in our Affordable Housing Programme page.
Babergh Regeneration Schemes
Appraisals of the council’s landholdings and housing stock have been carried out, and continue to be on an ongoing basis.
This work has resulted in development opportunities being identified, and the regeneration and change of use of land and buildings being progressed.
