What did they do?

They talked to Les about their own ideas

Residents old and new talked to Les about their experiences living on the estate. Original residents talked about what it was like to move there when the houses were first built.

They created their own design ideas for the space

Students and school children worked with Les to see what it is like to be an artist working on a project like this by creating their own designs for the space and then discussing incorporating the needs and ideas of the local community.
