Fleet: Art and the Haven Ports

Summary

Fleet: Art and the Haven Ports

Fleet: Art and the Haven Ports is an exciting major programme of temporary visual arts commissions and residencies that will take place between September 2009 and December 2010 in the East of England's Haven Gateway.  Sites around the River Orwell and Stour will host events, commissions and residencies that  will be linked by bike, boat, train and walking routes.  Exploiting the Haven Gateway's proximity to mainland Europe, Fleet will be enhanced by co-commissions, cultural exchange opportunties and cross-promotion with visual arts organisations in the Nord area of France.

Artist residencies will be taking place in Shotley and Pin Mill in the Babergh district.
