BABERGH SEEKS PUBLIC CONSULTATION OVER NEW LICENSING ACT

Babergh District Council is inviting members of the public and relevant businesses to inspect its draft "Statement of Licensing Policy". The document, which Babergh is required to produce under the new Licensing Act 2003, forms a fundamental part of the decision making process for all licence applications and notices, including those of pubs and clubs.

Babergh District Council has unveiled its blueprint for the Poplar Road shopping area in Great Cornard – and is looking for residents’ views on the proposals. 





NEW APPOINTMENT AIMS TO TACKLE ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

In a bid to eliminate anti-social behaviour from our streets and towns, Babergh Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP), of which  Babergh District Council is a part, has appointed an Anti-Social Behaviour Network Officer.
