 As Babergh District Council awaits the outcome of its Local Plan Inquiry, work is already underway on the first Local Development Framework (LDF). LDFs, recently introduced by Central Government, replace Local Plans and set out which land is earmarked for future developments throughout the district, for both residential and commercial use. |

 Monday 27th June saw the start of Big Recycle Week, a countywide initiative aimed at raising recycling awareness. Events in the Babergh district kicked off with Beaumont Primary School in Hadleigh taking part in a sports competition with a difference! |
