Babergh District Council is running a series of free walking sessions in order to help people get fit and make new friends.

The lunchtime walks, which are being run in conjunction with Stepping Out and the Suffolk Sport Active Wellbeing programme, all take place in the Sudbury and Hadleigh countryside.

Sudbury’s next walk is arranged for April 15th and Hadleigh’s next walk will take place on April 22nd. The walks will then take place in Hadleigh on May 6th and 20th, and June 3rd and 17th. Sudbury’s walks will continue on April 29th, May 13th and 27th and June 10th and 24th.

The walks will take place in Hadleigh and Sudbury alternately, on Thursdays at 1pm, lasting approximately 45 minutes.

The Hadleigh walks start from outside the library and the Sudbury walks start from outside the Kingfisher Leisure Centre. There is an opportunity to chat and make new friends over coffee after each walk.
