Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA)

Summary

A Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) has been undertaken for Babergh District Council.

The SFRA is a requirement of the national planning policy (PPS25) and is aimed at ensuring that flood risk is managed effectively and sustainably as an integral part of the planning process. The assessment is a planning tool and is required to inform the Local Development Framework and in Particular spatial planning decisions. In additional the SFRA will provide guidance for development control.

Paper copies can also be viewed at the Council Offices. Alternatively a CD or paper copy can be requested at the charges set out below from the Planning Policy Team who can be contacted by the details below.

SFRA for the Babergh District including maps on CD: £1.00 (per CD)
Paper copy of the SFRA for the Babergh District including maps: £30.00

All costs include Post and Packaging. Please make cheques out to Babergh District Council.
