Omission

Paragragh 2.13 and Policy EN04, which deal with 'Open Space within Settlements should have been transferred from the Chapter 2 - Environment to Chapter 7 - Built Environment & Conservation.  No Change to either the paragraph or policy has been made since it was adoptedin the 1995 Babergh Local Plan.
Para 2.13states: "These are protected through a number of policies in the Plan.  Some open spaces are especially important and in particular recreational facilities should be proteced in order that appropriate standards are maintained."
EN04 states: " Development leading to the loss of important open space, visually important gaps in the street scene or recreational facilities within towns and villages will not be permitted."
