Application information required


All planning applications must be made on the forms issued by Babergh District Council (see link below) or online via the Planning Portal

Please be advised that four copies are needed of all forms and plans.

 

There are 26 standard types of application forms.

The information required to accompany each of the different types of application is identified in Annex A of the Local Validation Requirements document.

These lists specify the statutory or national requirements for all applications as given in the Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) Order, 1995, (as amended)1 and the local requirements that have been identified by the District Council in line with national recommendations.  A Glossary of the terms used is provided in Annex B of the Local Validation Requirements document.
