Information on paying fees
You are able to pay the fee for the Planning Application by cheque posted to our offices or by credit/debit card over the phone (01473 825858). Click here to access the fee calculator. It can help you by working out the cost of any particular planning application. The calculator asks a series of questions to help determine the total cost of an application, ranging from a simple householder development to large scale schemes such as housing schemes or industrial estates .
The National Planning Portal objectives are "To improve the planning system and to create a substantial "value adding" portal business (that delivers services wanted and liked by customers, both public and private)".
The Planning Portal is driven by the Planning Inspectorate and is supported by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM).
