Innovation Awards 2022
Join Babergh Mid Suffolk District Councils this Autumn for our bi-annual Innovation Awards, where we celebrate innovative businesses and individuals throughout the districts.
This October, we will be hosting our second Innovation Awards ceremony.
The awards recognise and celebrate the incredible companies and individuals who push boundaries, think creatively and change behaviours - with an innovative approach - to address challenges they face.
We want to celebrate businesses - across all sectors - and individuals who demonstrate innovation. This could be via cutting edge technology, or outstanding customer service.
We are inviting forward-thinking businesses, of all sizes, to enter the awards.
It has been a challenging few years for businesses. Many have had to adapt and change their way of working, to overcome restrictions caused by COVID-19. We hope the awards will celebrate the businesses and individuals who:
- put innovation at the heart of what they do
- create new initiatives
- support customers
- lead best practice
- use cutting edge technology or sustainable solutions
To get involved, all you need to do is tell us about the businesses or individuals who you feel have demonstrated the very best in innovation - and have made a considerable, positive contribution to their sector.
There is no cost to entering the awards. The categories are:
- Shooting Star
- Rising Star
- Tomorrow’s World
- Customer Service Innovation
- High Street Innovation
- Sustainability Innovation
- Healthcare Innovation
- Future Food Innovation
- Construction Innovation
- Business Innovator of the Year
To celebrate all winners on the night, the Business Innovator of the Year award will be judged by our main event sponsor, and will be chosen from the winners of the other categories.
The nomination process is quick and easy, and can be completed online in a matter of minutes. There is no limit to the number of categories you can enter and you can nominate your own business, or another.
The deadline for submitting a nomination is Wednesday 31 August. Nominations will be reviewed by a panel of judges composed of business specialists and professionals.
The shortlisted finalists will be announced on Thursday 22 September and the award ceremony will take place on Thursday 20 October.
