A person must be registered with the Council prior to carrying out either cosmetic piercing, tattooing, electrolysis, semi-permanent skin colouring or acupuncture (unless they are registered as a medical practitioner).
A one off fee is payable for this - to ensure standards of cleanliness are maintained and to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
In all cases, it is the both person and the premises that are registered, a fee is payable for both current Fees and Charges. Therefore, should a business change location, it will need to re-register with the Council.
Complete an application for registration to carry on acupuncture/tattooing/semipermanent skin-colouring/cosmetic piercing and electrolysis.
