Hackney Carriage, Private Hire Operator, Vehicle & Driver Policy
The purpose of these policies is to inform you about the conditions that drivers, operators and licensed vehicles are expected to operate under.
The policies were approved by Cabinet:
- for Babergh District Council on 6 December 2021
- for Mid Suffolk District Council on 7 March 2022
Babergh's policy took effect from 31 January 2022 and Mid Suffolk's policy took effect from 7 March 2022. Each policy is valid for three years (unless revisions are needed sooner).
