Working in partnership, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Suffolk County Council, West Suffolk Council, Anglia Ruskin University and our councils are asking property owners about the ways financial incentives might encourage improvements in energy efficiency across the county.
It’s suggested that financial incentives such as grants, advice, support packages, council tax and business rate reductions, and loans can open up doors to encourage more energy efficient choices, but there isn’t currently robust enough evidence to show this.
To have your say, all you need to do is fill out the relevant survey below:
Responses will be analysed to help our partners understand the challenges and potential motivations to making energy efficiency improvements, whilst also looking at the ways these might work in practice across Suffolk.
Businesses can also find out more about the Carbon Charter already in place in Suffolk.
