For garage applications, priority is given to existing council tenants and applicants with restricted mobility.
Applicants will be placed on a waiting list if there is no available garage at any of their preferred locations. Applicants can specify up to three preferred locations.
Applicants who are offered a garage will be required to sign a Garage Agreement, which outlines responsibilities on using the garage.
We will not issue an agreement to tenants or leaseholders who are in arrears with their rent or service charges.
If you wish to terminate your garage tenancy, you are required to give 2 weeks’ notice. Keys to be handed into the offices at Sudbury Town Hall, Old Market Place, Sudbury, CO10 1TL or Stowmarket CAP, 54 Ipswich Street, Stowmarket, IP14 1AD
Applicants wishing to terminate their Garage Agreement must give at least two full week's notice.
