An Inn Crowd Coffee Morning is being held for pub landlords, to help them look at ways they can bring exceptional live arts into rural communities and diversify the use of the village pub.
The Coffee Morning which will be hosted by Creative Arts East & Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils, aims to reach out to Suffolk landlords interested in finding out how they can get involved in the project.
The free Coffee Morning event will be held on Wednesday 18th July, 10.30am – 12pm at The Cross Keys Pub, The Street, Redgrave IP22 1RW, and will be an opportunity to learn about the project, how it can benefit business, and how to get involved. There will also be a live performance from award winning poet Luke Wright.
Councillor Julie Flatman Mid Suffolk Cabinet Member for Communities said “The Inn Crowd initiative is a great way to help lift local rural economies and is a fantastic project that will help bring live entertainment closer to door steps and look to revitalise their pubs and create a wonderful and fresh experience for their customers.
Inn Crowd is an Arts Council England-funded project delivered across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire by arts and community development charity Creative Arts East, that aims to use live performance to reinforce the pub as a vital part of rural community life.
