Chance to give views on proposals to improve walking and cycling link in Stowmarket
Stowmarket residents have the chance to give their views on proposed improvements to a walking and cycling route between Lowry Way and the town centre.
The proposed improvements, designed to provide sustainable and safer links between residential developments, schools, and employment areas would see:
- widening existing footpaths to a standard suitable for cycling
- providing new pedestrian and cycle crossings
- improving signage to help make walking and cycling easier and more convenient for people
The investment forms part of Suffolk County Council’s active travel commitments, which was awarded funding by the Department for Transport.
