Shotley has been chosen as the location for the third public question time event to be held by the Leader of Babergh District Council, Councillor John Ward and Deputy Leader, Councillor Jan Osborne.
The councillors are inviting people who live and work in the area to ask questions about the council’s work at the event in Shotley Village Hall on The Street in Shotley, which will be held on Saturday 21 July between 10am and 12noon.
Cllr Ward said: “We’ve really enjoyed meeting people who live and work in Babergh and discussing a range of local issues with them and are looking forward to hosting our third question time event, this time in Shotley. We would like to invite as many people as possible to join us at Shotley Village Hall, where we will be happy to explain more about what the council does and about our roles as councillors.”
This event follows the success of a similar question and answer sessions held in Sudbury and Hadleigh. Future events are being planned in Bures, Lavenham, Glemsford, East Bergholt and Great Cornard.
