Adopted Documents

Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils currently have separately adopted Local Plan documents. However, the two Councils are working towards a new Joint Local Plan.

Please note that Babergh and Mid Suffolk are now working towards the production of a Joint Local Plan. In addition to local planning policies, regard should be given to national planning policy, most notably the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF).

The Royal Town & Planning Institute (RTPI) offer advice and resources. The Government's Planning Portal website also has a wealth of information on all aspects of planning and building control.
