Hazardous waste

Dried out water-based paint can be placed in your general rubbish bin or taken to a Suffolk recycling centre.

If your tin of paint is partially full, please add sand, soil or cat litter and double bag it before putting it in the rubbish bin - this does not include solvent paints.

Suffolk recycling centres also collect other types of hazardous waste free of charge - find a full list of accepted items.

Hazardous business waste? Please head to our business waste pages.
