For businesses

There are grants and loans available from a number of sources to support businesses, for a list of current grants available please visit The Heart of Suffolk website.

You can also contact our Economic Development team to discuss grant opportunities.

The Suffolk Chamber of Commerce have produced a Cost of Living Toolkit for businesses, with a variety of resources to help businesses access advice and support.

Business in the Community have also compiled an action plan for businesses which provides guidance on supporting staff, customers, communities and suppliers through the cost of living crisis.

For community organisations

Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils offer a variety of grants to support voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations (VCFSEs).

Suffolk County Council produce a fortnightly grant funding alert showing current grants from a variety of funders. You can view the latest grant breakdown and sign up for future alerts on the Suffolk County Council website.

Community Action Suffolk have pulled together lots of cost of living resources for VCFSE’s on their website.

Organisations can also contact Community Action Suffolk for advice and help on issues such as grants, governance, and sustainable development as well as to join their free VCFSE network.
