The Government laid an Order in Parliament to revoke the Regional Spatial Strategy for the East of England. This order came into force on Wednesday 3rd January 2013.
At the Inspector request, the Programme Officer wrote to Core Strategy respondents and the Council asking for submissions on the matter as far as it relates to the Babergh Core Strategy and Proposed Modifications documents.
The deadline for submitting responses was Monday 21st January 2013. Comments (up to a maximum 1,500 words) were to be confined to the implications of the East of England Plan revocation.
All submissions received by the above deadline are published below. The Inspector will take these statements into his consideration for the Examination.
