Statement of Principles Policy
As per the Gambling Act 2005, we have to publish a written policy which sets out:
- how we propose to carry out our licensing functions
- the principles we will follow
- our expectations of licensees
Our Statement of Principles Policy was approved by Babergh's Full Council on 21 January 2025, and Mid Suffolk's Full Council on 23 January 2025.
It took effect from 31 January 2025 and is valid for three years (unless revisions are needed sooner).
