Very sheltered housing

Very sheltered housing schemes offer 24-hour care and support on site to meet the needs of vulnerable older people.

You need to be over 55 and in need of at around ten hours of personal care a week.

To find out how much support you may need, contact Social Care Services and ask for a Community Care Assessment. You should either approach their local office or ‘Customer First’ on 0808 800 4005.
