The idea is to create a framework for guiding planning decisions into the mid-2040s.
We invite submissions for a variety of land uses, for future development. In particular, residential sites to meet future needs as outlined by the government.
This is a "Call for Sites" process.
We will assess all submissions. Please note that submission by itself does not grant any planning status.
You must make site submissions before 5.00pm on Friday 9 January 2026.
We encourage submissions through our online portal:
Submissions made between January and February 2024, for residential use, do not need submitting again. We will consider these sites for inclusion in the Local Plan as it develops.
Our "Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment" lists all submissions received, and their assessments.
