Brantham Area September 2013 Single Issue

Hearing Session on Brantham Regeneration Area Proposal:

Following consultation on the Further Proposed Main Modifications document a further single issue hearing session was held on Wednesday 25th September 2013 to discuss the Brantham Regeneration Area proposal.

On the 26th July 2013 the Inspector appointed to oversee the Babergh Core Strategy examination wrote to the Council to advise them that a further (single issue) examination hearing session in respect of the Brantham Regeneration Area proposals (Policy CS6a refers) was necessary. That hearing session took place on Wednesday 25th September 2013 in the Council Chamber, Babergh District Council, Corks Lane, Hadleigh.

Prior to the hearing session the Programme Officer had written to Core Strategy respondents and to the Council asking for any further written submissions on the Brantham modification (Main Mod 25) only in as far as it related to the Core Strategy and Proposed Modifications documents to be submitted by no later than Monday 16th September 2013. All the submissions received are published below.

The (draft) Programme of Attendees lists those who were invited to speak on the day. Members of the public were also able to attend the hearing session in an observing capacity only.

The agenda for the day was based on the Inspectors Identified Matters (Key Issues) & Specific Questions and on the further evidence documents submitted both prior to and during the hearing session. The latter can be found in the Core Document Library list. Participants were are also asked to take note of the Guidance Notes specific to this hearing.
