A number of Parishes have produced community-led plans in the past. These include Parish Plans, Village Design Statements, Health Checks and Village Reviews. Where copies are available, there are links to these below.
The status of these document depends on a number of circumstances, including their age. Each one should be looked at on its own merits as some content may be applicable to the decision maker. By their very nature Parish Plans should represent the whole community and often set out a vision and action points to assist with implementation. Due to adoption issues, it is unlikely that they have a formal planning status but that does not detract from the fact that they can be a useful local information source and help to identify areas of local distinctiveness.
